About Emerson Todd

Emerson Todd (he/him/his) is a doctoral student in Social Psychology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Penn State University, where they are developing their skills as an interdisciplinary mixed-methods researcher. Emerson earned a master's degree in sociology from East Tennessee State University (ETSU),where they focused on the study of sociological social psychology and social inequality. Emerson has contributed to several publications in top-tier journals, including an examination of stigma in a gender diverse population. Emerson has also received several awards and honors, including an NIH funded Translational Science Fellowship and the University Graduate Fellowship (UGF) from Pennsylvania State University. Through Emerson's diverse research experience in a psychology and sociology background, Emerson has received training in innovative quantitative and qualitative methods from inception to implementation of a research project. Overall, Emerson is a highly accomplished and dedicated researcher with a strong focus on interdisciplinary feminist psychological methods.
