About Emi Shannon

As a student leader, researcher, and performer, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking, empathy, and creativity to every role I take on. Whether it be through mentoring peers through teaching assistantships, leading campus organizations, or consulting with non-profits, I thrive in environments that value collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and success for employees and students alike.I am currently pursuing a masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and am currently seeking opportunities to grow in this field through graduate assistantships, fellowships, and internships. I am actively working on two research projects with faculty support: one looking at Zoom fatigue and the other looking at job values. I also have a research paper accepted for publication looking at the effect of a Blue Mind positive psychology intervention on student well-being. I aim to continue bridging disciplines to support people in achieving their goals—whether on stage, in the classroom, or in the workplace.Let’s connect!
