Currently working as a Seed Enhancement Applications Specialist at Barenbrug Holland. In my role, I manage seed treatments, coatings, and the development of formulations for grasses, legumes, and ornamental flowers. I focus on optimizing seed coating technologies to improve agricultural performance, contributing to sustainable farming practices. Graduated with a major in Molecular Plant Biology, showcasing expertise in advanced techniques like CRISPR/Cas9, Golden Gate cloning, and Agrobacterium mediated transformation. Successfully completed a compelling graduation internship at Radboud University, specializing in sustainable solutions for combatting downy mildew in viticulture, specifically addressing the challenges posed by Plasmopara viticola. Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of knowledge, I applied my knowledge in real-world scenarios, emphasizing a commitment to cutting-edge technologies. During a compelling minor, I focused on cancer research, utilizing the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans to explore fundamental aspects of cancer development. Additionally, delved into the intricate effects of ALCAM interactions on gene expression and protein activation in BLM melanoma cells. With a higher mathematics certificate, and an engineering degree in electrical/mechatronic engineering, I bring a diverse skill set to the table.
