About Emilee Martichenko

I am the current Development Coordinator for the American Logistics Aid Network as well as a freelance writer for the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME). I graduated in May 2019 from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies and a minor in Comparative Literature. Throughout my time in university, I worked as a documentarian in Medellín, Colombia, an English teaching assistant in Escuela Martín Buber in Buenos Aries, Argentina, and an advocacy intern at Cultural Survival. I am fluent in verbal and written Spanish as well as proficient in written and verbal Russian. I have supplemented my experiences with an artistic edge characteristic of my passion for theater and the humanities. I directed, stage managed, and acted in student theater productions. Additionally, I was a writer for BU's chapter of Her Campus. In my spare time, I can be found studying Russian, training in Krav Maga, petting dogs, or reading a good book. I am passionate about international relations, global cultures, women's rights, and world literature and the arts. I hope to contribute my experiences and skills to leading research bodies, multilateral institutions, nonprofits, and governing institutions in hopes of carving out a just world.
