About Emilio Bondioli

I am a creative developer working at the intersection of design and technology. I love figuring out technical solutions for design challenges and blending physical and digital together to create immersive experiences. My background in visual design and many years of development experience allow me to easily bridge the gap between design and development, tackling projects with a more comprehensive approach and an eye for user experience and human-machine interaction. During my years at TODO I learned the ropes of rapid prototyping and digital fabrication, to create working prototypes, iterate and test different solutions and bring my own projects to life. While my focus is on web technologies, I have spent more than 8 years working on all stages of creative projects, covering different roles and exploring a wide range of tools: I’ve written control software for kinetic installations, created smart landmarks collecting environmental data, led a team developing museum exhibitions, and brought to life a number of interactive experiences. I am a hacker at heart and love taking things apart to learn how they work, tinkering with them and testing unusual applications and unconventional approaches. I am currently working as creative technologist at Leva, where I participate in the ideation and creation of kinetic and interactive installations, following projects from the concept and design phase through installation and deployment.
