In 2022 I completed a Masters of Public Policy at RMIT through the Department of Justice Disability and Inclusion Program Major Scholarship 2021-22. For my capstone research project I completed a gender scorecard of Australian federal employment and higher education policy. In 2020 I worked at the Australian Red Cross assisting people on temporary visas experiencing extreme hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I place a strong emphasis on grassroots engagement and the human experience when approaching work and research. In 2019 I completed a one year of honours research project at Monash University. My thesis ‘Incinerating the Drone Myth’ explored the human impact of drone warfare and the effects of RPVs on contemporary asymmetrical conflict within the New Wars context. In 2016 I participated in a Special Global University program on Peace Boat's 92nd Global Voyage: Humanitarian Disarmament, International Law, and the UN. At the conclusion of this program, I presented in New York at a side event of the UNGA First Committee (Oct 20, 2016) sponsored by the Marshall Islands and Japan.
