About Emily Barsantee

Hi, my name is Emily Barsantee. I am a senior attending Indiana University studying Finance and International Business with a minor in Spanish. I chose Indiana University for the welcoming atmosphere where I am surrounded by peers and professionals who are all driven for the success of their differing paths. I have worked two jobs within the last 6 years which include being a barista at a local coffee shop and an assistant in the golf shop at a country club where I experience working on a team as well as the hardships that come with customer service. At both jobs I built up a lot of experience from working 40 plus hours each week and was able to expand my role as an employee to leadership positions, due to my dependability, hard work, and dedication. This past summer I had the opportunity to intern at Raymond James with a financial advisor where I observed client meetings and gained a deeper understanding of client portfolio management. Through various networking calls and observations within Raymond James I built up firsthand knowledge within the financial service industry. Hobbies/Interests: Conversational Spanish, Iced Coffee, Traveling, Hot Yoga
