About Emily Becker

My career started as a Nanny for a family with six children. Working from 8am-8pm four days a week while studying to get my degree. For anyone who has been around kids, you know six is not an easy task. The parents were doctors who owned their own practice; when I walked in the door at 8:00am I took over their role. It was an intimidating job at such a young age but I have never shied away from a challenge. I moved away which led to a tearful goodbye as I parted ways from the family I grew to love. This directed me into the world of Leasing. I started as a leasing agent quickly falling in love with selling apartment, interacting with residents, and the camaraderie of our office team. I took the initiative to update our move in packets, organize our office, and make improvements. I quickly moved up as an Assistant Manager at a luxury property helping run a team of 10+. As leasing agents started with little to no guidance, I created onboarding procedures to ensure expectations were being met. On top of my responsibilities I also assisted with marketing, planning resident events, and continuing to lease in order to meet our ownership goals. While I had great success in leasing I knew getting my Bachelors Degree was important in furthering my career. To help pay for school I worked part time as an Event Coordinator and as an Assistant for a Lawyer. This helped expand my skills and gave me additional experience. I was thriving in property management but I wanted to move to an industry where there was ample growth and I could learn essential business operations. I was hired as an Account Manager at Quench while still continuing my education. I quickly excelled in my position and began handling complex cases putting out fires. I became a Mentor, training in five team members while consistently being one of the top performers on my team. Due to my hard work and accomplishments I was promoted to Sr Account Manager; eager to take on new challenges and learn new skills in this role.
