About Emily Carroll
Emily graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Legal Studies and went on to receive a JD from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law. During the course of her legal studies, Emily received a certificate in mediation from the University of Western Ontario’s Dispute Resolution Centre, as well as a certificate in mediation jointly from Tulane University and Humboldt University at a summer program held in Berlin, Germany. At law school, she was involved with Community Legal Services’ clinic program and Pro Bono Student Canada’s Family Law Project. She also served as president of Community Outreach, a volunteer based organization that assists the community of London through projects such as London Lawyers Feed the Hungry. In her second year, Emily was selected to be a member of the University of Western Ontario’s Walsh Moot team. In her spare time, Emily enjoys travelling, cooking and hot yoga.
