Background

About Emily Clements

I'm a cognitive neuroscientist who is passionate about helping people understand how the brain works. I use my background in neuroimaging and my PhD studies on the Neuroscience of Entrepreneurship at King's College London to develop science-based practices for creativity and work. I am a lecturer in neuroscience at the University of Exeter. Prior to which I worked as the Research and Neuroscience Lead for Outside, a consulting company helping people develop a deeper sense of self-awareness at work. I have also guest lectured for King's College London, Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre, Sheffield University and more on topics related to entrepreneurship, disruptive thinking, creativity and the cross-section between science and business. My ultimate goal in life and work is to help people understand their own minds better, by understanding how their brains create the reality they see and the power they have to change this. I don't think neuroscience has to seem so complicated, and I'll make it my mission to make it more accessible.
