What I Do: I work closely with Diagnostic Imaging and Nursing graduates to assess their career interests, develop personalized career plans, and provide tailored advice on job search strategies, resume building, and interview preparation. My role involves collaborating with industry partners to stay updated on job market trends and ensuring that our curriculum aligns with real-world demands. Key Skills and Expertise-Career Counseling: Offering one-on-one guidance to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career paths-Job Search Strategies: Teaching effective techniques for resume writing, cover letter creation, and interview skills-Employer Relations: Building and nurturing relationships with local businesses and organizations to create internship and job placement opportunities-Workshops and Mock Interviews: Designing and facilitating career development workshops to enhance students’ job readiness and professional skills-Employer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to facilitate job placements, internships, and networking opportunities-Career Resources: Develop and manage career resources, including job boards, career fairs, and online tools, to support students' job search efforts.
