About Emily Crain

I am a woman of many talents. Partly because I didn't know what I wanted to do when I grew up, and partly because my thoughts,skills and thirst to be successful lead me into multiple directions. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science, with a focus on Psychology and Criminology. After attending undergraduate school, I attended law school where I graduated with a JD and passed the Florida bar a few months later. During my years in law school, I was a full time student, part time law clerk at a local law firm that specialized in insurance defense, and participated in a short internship at Digital Risk where I was able to see the corporate and contractual side of law and gain knowledge in those areas. I also was a member of the Environmental Law Journal, American Association for Justice, and CFAWL while also being able to continue volunteer work and running for local charities. I moved areas, and began my own law practice, participating in mostly family, criminal and contractual law. During this time I gained skills in time management, leadership and self-motivation. Due to a change in circumstances, I began teaching at a local elementary school full time and practicing law part time. I attained my Professional Teaching License in Florida and have been doing this for several years. Although completely different fields, I have gained so much respect and sharpened all my skills even further. Although teaching is a passion of mine, I am ready to enter back into the work force. I have been continuing practice in law, and have dabbled in some business related classes, which have helped me gain conceptual knowledge in corporate law areas. I am a highly motivated, hard worker and can learn any new ideas thrown at me very quickly and thoroughly. If I am what you are looking for or want more information about myself, please contact me!
