About Emily Daura

Emily Daura is the Curatorial Manager at MUSE/IQUE, whose interdisciplinary curatorial approach infuses traditional museum curatorial practices and scholarship with design, pop culture, and music to create pieces that offer contemporary cultural and social criticism in the arts. Emily believes that art’s activation depends on its relationship with its audience and that fostering that relationship through accessibility, inclusivity, and meaningful engagement are the building blocks of any arts organization. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master of Arts in Art Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, and a Master of Arts in Modern and Contemporary Art History, Theory, and Criticism from Azusa Pacific University.
