From a young age, my interest in understanding and facilitating people's interactions was sparked when I was appointed as a "peer mediator" in fifth grade. Tasked with mediating conflicts among my peers, I discovered my passion for helping individuals improve their circumstances through effective communication and process enhancement. This early experience laid the foundation for my people-centric approach to professional challenges. By the age of 26, my dedication to saying "yes" to diverse opportunities propelled me to the role of General Manager at a multi-million-dollar restaurant, where I learned all aspects of business operations. However, the most fulfilling aspect of this role was the hiring process. From sifting through resumes to conducting interviews, onboarding, and evaluating new hires after their first 90 days, I found immense satisfaction in building a team that would not only excel individually but also contribute positively to our business culture and operational efficiency. This realization led me to transition into external recruiting, a role in which I truly feel at home. In this capacity, I excel in connecting businesses with candidates who not only meet their immediate needs but also enhance their overall dynamics. My ability to advocate for individuals from all walks of life, helping them secure employment while simultaneously advancing our clients' objectives, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. This role reinforces my belief that the power of people and processes create positive change.
