About Emily Douglas

I am a former sales/marketing professional with broad experience in media marketing, strategic planning, creative development and sales performance. I am currently a part of the Heritage team at Republic National Distributing in a Key Account Manager role over the Engraving Division. I couldn't be more excited to share my passion and expertise of leading new projects, championing this role and making it my very own. How The Project Chik was born: After losing my sales job of 8 years, I pretty much immediately dove back into the same gig of marketing/advertising - specifically print/digital sales. I had known for quite some time that my mindset was shifting away from the passion of selling and crossing over to the creative side. I loved collaborating about design, the aesthetic of client ads and what type of message they conveyed. Was the font right? Is the artwork too busy? Can it be cleaner? More white space? Bottom line.SELLING print advertising was no longer fulfilling me as my creative passions began growing. And then that creative passion expanded into my personal spaces as well as the spaces of others. After creating new social media accounts and booking clients, TPC was created and it’s still forever changing. So here is to the 9-5, the side hustle, and bringing my creative passions to both… Cheers!
