About Emily Edwards

With experience in archiving, conservation and collections management through my Placement Year and volunteering roles, I am excited to gain more experience in archival practice alongside my MA at Aberystwyth University. I am passionate about social justice and am eager to apply this to my work. My research focus has centred around amplifying marginalised voices with projects such as the 'I Am A Man and A Brother' Medallion display and being a founding member of the English Department's Decolonisation Committee. This has culminated in my undergraduate dissertation focussing on the role of women in the early British abolitionist movement.
