Background

About Emily Eelkema Stough

From a young age, I have been fascinated with space and space exploration. In my 26+ years at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, I have contributed to several projects and mission studies. My passion is spacecraft operations, and I have helped maximize science return for the Mars Exploration Rovers, the Curiosity Rover, the InSight lander, the Cassini Orbiter at Saturn, and the Juno mission to Jupiter. I also have experience as a group supervisor to an amazing team of science system engineers, who are designing operations systems for the next generation of robotic science explorers. All opinions expressed on my profile are my own, and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of JPL, NASA, or Caltech.
