Children inspire me. Whether it is the rapid changes of a growing newborn, the innocence of a toddler or the social maneuvering of a young teen, I learn a lot from kids. Almost daily, I am blessed with lots of laughter and inspiration while seeing patients at Greenwood Pediatrics. As the Medical Coordinator for Camp Colorado, sponsored by the American Diabetes Association, I am privileged to prepare for the camp throughout the year, culminating in a week-long mountain experience for 200+ children and teens with Type 1 Diabetes.
