About Emily Harding

For the past 15 years, I have lived and worked in Spain, travelled throughout the country and learnt the language at a bilingual level. Personally I am an outgoing and sporty (hiker and gym fanatic) individual. I love to travel and learn new skills and people along the way. My most interesting experience was when I lived in Istanbul. This really threw me out of my comfort zone and made me a more confident person. I lived in France for several months where I picked up conversational communication skills.Although originally I'm from Manchester, UK, I studied in Edinburgh, Scotland where I graduated with a 2.1. My travels have given me first hand experience in to different cultures which demonstrates my capability to adapt to my surroundings no matter how different they are at first.During my time in Spain I have dedicated most of my professional career to tourism and events management. I have worked in events management for an online travel agency, building content, web packages, finance related tasks using different online payment platforms whilst also providing customer service through email, phone, live chat and face to face consultancy. More recently my skills have developed in to involvement in recruitment for my team, interviews, training of new starters and peers, further finance development with different payment service providers. More recently I have expanded my knowledge in to online marketing such as email design communications using tools such as MailChimp and studying short courses in online marketing.
