About Emily Humble

Passionate about learning, staff development, and community impact, I’ve spent the past decade building strong schools and supporting the educators who make them thrive. With a background in special education, literacy intervention, and school leadership, I’ve served as an assistant principal, instructional coach, and founding team member of a high school in Columbus, Ohio. After a year leading the Impact Players program at Champions for Literacy—where I worked alongside student-athletes and corporate partners to elevate childhood reading—I’ve returned to school leadership with renewed purpose. I now serve as an Assistant Principal at the high school level, where I focus on staff development, instructional systems, and building a culture of consistency, high expectations, and support. I believe strong school leadership can change outcomes—not just for students, but for the adults who serve them. I'm committed to equipping educators with the tools, feedback, and encouragement they need to do their best work. Always open to connecting with fellow leaders, educators, and community partners who share a vision for educational equity and excellence.
