Background

About Emily Jacobs

I am highly motivated by projects that create meaningful positive outcomes for communities, and have been privileged to work on the implementation of three government-priority initiatives both in Canada (pay gap reporting for federally regulated private-sector employers) and Aotearoa New Zealand (Ka Ora, Ka Ako healthy school lunches programme and Ikura Manaakitia te whare tangata period products in schools initiative). I have held several roles within these programmes - including ICT project management, policy development, programme design, contract and risk management - but most importantly, my responsibilities have centered around building relationships with partners and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure these initiatives are working as intended.
