My joy in the written word brought me to start my career as a freelancer working mainly on website copy blocks. Sound boring? It isn’t! It was a challenging way to use my creativity to turn flat data into explosions of informational fun. But the growth of IT and my love of puzzles made it impossible for me to stay away. I've accomplished my Python and AWS certification, built front-end web projects using HTML, CSS and Javascript, and delved into data storage using MySQL and MongoDB. And I'll continue to add more expertise through online learning and hands on projects as I nurture a growth mindset in this field. Not on the computer? Then I’m most likely outside. Goats are my favorite creatures—loving, personable, funny. And yes, I am guilty of putting baby goats in sweaters. In my defense Colorado can get cold. Or maybe I am enjoying a hobby.
