I’m a Registered Nurse (BSN) turned public servant, combining over a decade of healthcare expertise with a passion for building healthier, stronger communities. My background spans pediatric, NICU, and school-based settings—roles that have taught me the value of compassion, precision, and clear communication. As a former elected commissioner for the Lake Bluff Park District, I championed community wellness, expanded inclusive programming, and secured state grant funding to modernize public facilities. I believe strong, resilient communities are built at the intersection of public health, education, and recreation. Today, I bring that same commitment to service into policy, advocacy, and consulting—driving initiatives that improve quality of life and strengthen civic engagement. I’m also the author of The Adventures of Howie the Hamster, a children’s book created with my daughter, which reflects my mission to inspire kindness and curiosity through storytelling. Whether at the bedside, in the community, or in the public arena, my work is guided by one purpose: to help people and places thrive.
