In the spring of 2021, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a double major in Political Science: Public Law; Criminal Justice and consecutive Dean's List recognition. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, with a 3.92 GPA, permitted me to become a proud alumna of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honors society, which is a prestigious membership awarded to those who are among the top 10% of his/her class within the liberal arts and sciences. During my junior year, I participated in a Wrongful Conviction course with a handful of other students where we were informed about the most common causes of wrongful conviction, how to review case files, screen applications, and investigate facts of actual cases that may lead to exoneration. Currently, I work as a family and criminal law paralegal.
