About Emily Ledger

My love for theatre propelled me from small town Iowa to the Santa Fe Opera to Boston and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I just started a new job as Administrative Assistant at Mach49, working with Global companies to Disrupt InsideOut, creating, building, and launching new ventures generated from within the organization.As a Senior Administrative Assistant in MIT Corporate Relations (which includes the MIT Industrial Liaison Program and MIT Startup Exchange), I managed logistics and scheduled meetings with high-level corporate executives from all over the world. The Program Directors, whom I supported in addition to the Executive Director, facilitated meetings between MIT faculty/researchers and major corporations from all across the world. In addition, I assisted Corporate Relations with the design and implementation of Salesforce as a CRM tool to document interactions between MIT faculty/researchers and company visitors, as well as maintain a database of companies and contact information. With the rollout of the customized Salesforce system, I also assisted the entire office with developing new business practices using my knowledge of how our office functions.
