I have had almost every type of employment. My work history has given me an assortment of work experiences; some better than others. My consistent employment history began at age 19 (Now 25) after the birth of my oldest child. I immediately realized that ALL of his needs are dependant upon my income. I, now, soley support my two sons, ages three and six. My newborn has grown up and is in Kindergarten, which is absolutely NOTHING like how I remember it, and he brings home a Catalog for a School Fundraiser every other month. Once a month I have to send in 23 snack bags. One for each student in his class.( I swear, public schools cost the student's parents their entire Savings Account and more.) Now, back to my first paragraph.".some better than others." As a Mother I have learned to loosen the reigns on my own life.(Current visual of myself: very loose fitting, super fuzzy Cookie Monster pajama pants; my fiance's Royal Blue long-sleeved sleep shirt; hair is LITERALLY tied up because my last hair band broke; and I am still covered in yesterday's make up where my eyeliner is covering the bags under my eyes and my CC Cream is now "Canceling the Corrections" it had covered yesterday.) I have worked ten hour days, seven days a week, for a month straight. I have waited tables and delivered the food EXACTLY as ordered to be told I was wrong. I have went three months on only two hours and thirty minutes of sleep a day when I was working overnights stocking shelves just so I didn't miss anything in my oldest son's life. I AM the employee that every Manager/Owner/Employer wishes they could find to work for them. I am the employee who actually WORKS throughout her entire shift. I am the employee who will finally start and finish that dusty "What Needs Done" list within a work week. Hi, I'm Emily and I am a RARE honest, hard-working, dedicated Employee.
