About Emily Leonard

As a Veterinary Receptionist at Taunton Animal Hospital, I provide compassionate and professional care to a variety of animals and their owners. I handle the administrative tasks of the clinic, such as scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining records. I also assist the veterinarians and technicians with appointments. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Biology from Roger Williams University, where I also worked as a Shellfish Hatchery Assistant for nine months. During my studies, I spent a semester at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) as a student which led to my spending a semester there as a Teaching Assistant for their marine invertebrate zoology, coral reef ecology, tropical marine ecology, and research diving methods courses. I have multiple certifications in diving, including Rescue Diver, Scientific Diver, and I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I am passionate about the conservation and protection of marine life and ecosystems, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others. I am a reliable, adaptable, and collaborative team player, who strives to deliver high-quality service and results.
