About Emily Levy

Dr. Levy is an educational expert, business owner, public speaker and author based near New York City. She holds both a Master's Degree in Special Education and Doctorate Degree in Education from Nova University. Emily owns and operates EBL Coaching, a specialized tutoring program offering individualized, research-based tutoring to children with specialized learning needs in grades pre-K to 12. On the publishing end, Dr. Levy has authored three books, and all of which are designed to strengthen study skills for students in grades K-12. Further, she has been a public speaker at national and international events on various education topics, and regularly contributes written articles to education publications. As to professional accolades, Dr. Levy’s five-year research study on alternative strategies for teaching reading comprehension found her winning a fifth place Westinghouse Science and Talent Award. In 2017, she was selected as one of Bergen County’s Commission on the Status of Women Honorees during Women’s History Month. She has spoken nationally and internationally on various education topics and writes regularly for education publications.
