Background
About Emily Litle
Hi, I’m Emily – a passionate advocate for impactful learning and development! For over 14 years, I’ve been on a mission to transform the way education and training programs are designed, delivered, and experienced. With a background in higher education, I’ve had the privilege of helping diverse learner populations achieve success by leveraging innovative teaching strategies and data-driven insights. My career has taken me from leading faculty development as a department chair, to designing curricula that make learning more engaging and accessible, to hosting region-wide conferences that bring together 900+ educators. Whether it's facilitating workshops, collaborating with cross-functional teams, or using analytics to improve learning outcomes, my goal has always been the same – to create environments where people can thrive. At the University of Missouri–St. Louis, I wear multiple hats. As Learning Analytics Coordinator, I lead initiatives that use data to optimize teaching and improve student retention. I’m also the Assistant Chair of Program Logistics for the "Focus on Teaching with Technology" conference, where I help plan engaging sessions and ensure everything runs smoothly for hundreds of attendees. I love connecting with people and making sure they have the resources they need to succeed. Before this, I was a department chair at Otero College, where I led a team of 12 faculty members and re-designed our curriculum with Active Learning principles to better serve our Hispanic-serving student population. I’ve always been passionate about equity in education and ensuring that all learners, no matter their background, have the tools and support they need to succeed. When I’m not working, you’ll find me researching the latest trends in instructional design, exploring new learning technologies, or diving into a good book (I'm a big fan of both fiction and non-fiction!). I’m always excited to connect with like-minded professionals who share my passion for education, training, and making an impact through learning.Feel free to reach out if you want to chat about learning strategies, teaching with technology, or even share a book recommendation! I’m always happy to connect.
