Background
About Emily Malone
Goals: To work as a Project Manager for a medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company by leading projects (Clinical trails, product development/implementation, or streamline processes) while maintaining quality throughout the organization. Background: I moved to Boston, MA in 2017 to work as a project manager with the Clinical Supply Chain group. I am working to develop and implement a Device Management System, help improve their processes, and get exposure to another side of the medical device industry. Prior to moving to Boston, I spent 3 years in New Product Development launching to commercial markets several Capital Equipment (Medical Electrical Equipment) products. I project managed a cross functional team of 20 people to develop, finalize, and launch the first generation Cardiac Mapping System for Boston Scientific. I also spent 2015 traveling to Boston to work with the R&D team to plan and develop the next generation system. I utilized my strong organizational skills to define and track deliverables, and to streamline & implement new processes. I have over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry with strong knowledge of project management, working with cross functional teams (including R&D and manufacturing), interfacing data systems including: SAP, equipment maintenance, calibration, training and document control; quality assurance, customer complaints and quality control. I am passionate about the industry because of the direct help to patients due to the non-invasive nature of most of the products and procedures. It also allows me to utilize my my engineering and biology background. Specialties: Project management (MS Suite), Manufacturing, IT systems, Medical Devices, Customer Complaints, Quality Assurance investigator, Product Research, Customer Service, data analysis and a broad understanding of the many facets of the industry.
