About Emily Mattson

Hey howdy hey! During my time as a resident assistant at the University of North Florida, I determined my top five strengths were: Harmony, Consistency, Inclusion, Positivity and Reliability. I try to hone in on these strengths when performing my role as a Human Resource Expert. A successful company becomes successful with a strong team onboard, and it is my job to create a positive, inclusive and safe work environment. My favorite part of my career is working with my team members directly. I love hearing from my team and working with them to provide support and resources to help better their time at Target. I also briefly worked at Walt Disney World as a Convention Guide. During my time with the Walt Disney Company, I worked as the backbone of the event industry helping bring to life a multitude of events across the Walt Disney property. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 my time with the company was cut short. I take away from this experience a greater understanding of the event industry and the scheduling and planning that goes along with it, much like within my HR world. I am passionate about my work, and the people I work with, and am looking to expand my professional portfolio within the HR or event planning world. I am located in Central Brevard, but am open to relocating to the Orlando area. Let’s connect!
