About Emily McLean

I have found my purpose in given back to children and families in need. After graduating with a teaching degree in 2009, I have spent the last eight years as a case manager and a special education teacher to high needs children in rural, urban, and suburban neighborhoods. In November 2017, I completed my Masters Degree in Psychology when I found myself switching my focus to case management while utilizing my background in education in a different way. I noticed a need in the students I work with and sought out training to provide them with skills and tools to self monitor and assist themselves in times of need. In response to this, I completed training in mindfulness and yoga for children and am currently working on my mentorship program. I am a self starter, organized, dedicated, motivated and a team player. I quickly adapt to new employment guidelines and procedures and have a superior capacity of understanding new concepts and applying them appropriately.
