About Emily Meade

I have dedicated my career supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders, addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have extensive experience working with individuals with eating disorders, facing addiction, domestic abuse, and complex trauma. In my current role, I manage and facilitate support groups for an eating disorder service, helping clients navigate their recovery with care and evidence-based support. I hold a BSc and and a advanced diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and provide counselling for the Wellbeing Service, alongside my private practice. My approach is relational, adaptable, and person-centered, ensuring that I meet each client exactly where they are on their journey. Using evidence-based therapies, I tailor each session to address the unique needs of every individual, helping them develop resilience, self-compassion, and healthier coping strategies. I believe that healing is a journey, not a destination, and no one has to go through it alone. Whether you are facing long-standing struggles or new challenges, I am here to support and guide you toward lasting change and self-acceptance.
