Hello, and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! As you can see, my name is Emily, but you can always call me Em :). I believe that interpersonal human relationships, passion, determination, creativity and kindness make the world go round. I believe in appreciating the beauty and wonder of everyday life. I believe that no dream is too big- and believe in empowering others to reach their goals. My work ethic is driven by my desire to spread more love and compassion to those in all walks of life. I am currently in my fourth year of college and second year of graduate school as an occupational therapy student. I am intrigued and inspired by the complexity of the human body, especially the central nervous system (that means the brain, brainstem, and spinal cord for all you non-science majors). For this reason, I plan to specialize in neurological rehabilitation as a future professional. Although I look forward to growing my professional knowledge, I look forward most to working with people. Simply put, I am complete when I am helping others. Nothing else brings me a truer sense of joy than genuinely connecting with another human being. I have always been inspired and drawn to art and music.
