About Emily Miller

Success-oriented professional with a Bachelor of Arts from Cabrini University, in Digital Communication and Social Media. I’m interested in a career in Digital Marketing, Social Media or Event Planning, and I feel that I’m well suited in a full time, entry-level position, such as associate or assistant. Through my eduction and experience thus far, I have been able to learn many things about being a strong communicator, an effective storyteller and how to develop work that has a positive impact towards the common good. Cabrini's curriculum has molded me into a versatile, adaptable employee with a range of skills from marketing strategy/analysis, social media coordination, event planning, etc. as best showcased by the leadership roles I have held over the past four years. For example, I was able to work as Copy/Web Editor on the Loquitur, in which I worked collaboratively with a team to delegate a staff of 16 to maintain the integrity of a news organization. I also had the honor to experience and leave my impact on a small city in Guatemala called San Lucas, and further to lobby on their behalf in Washington D.C. to representatives of PA Senators Pat Toomey and Bob Casey. Most recently, I held the position of Marketing Director for Cavalier Radio, Cabrini’s official radio station, in which I was able to leave my impact with a successful social media marketing campaign. Because of my dedicated work in these areas, I have had incredible opportunities to take initiative in curating and producing pieces/projects that I am proud to display in the workplace through my internships at Holy Child Academy, and most notably in my position as Marketing Intern at GeoBlue. My time as an intern with the GeoBlue team taught me new industry skills, and sharpened existing ones, it also taught me an abundance about the industry itself, and how to apply said-skills to find success. As I enter the workforce, I am looking forward to learning and growing in a field I am passionate about, in a position that I can excel in.
