About Emily Moore

I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Aviation Management, and I have obtained a FAA Aircraft Dispatch License. My current role as a Flight Operations Scheduler has given me insight into the private aviation world. I originally was drawn to aviation for its tight-knit community, but eventually found myself driven by the constant day-to-day task of the aviation industry. I got my first glimpse of this with my internship with Encompass Health's Flight Department. Here, I learned the ends and outs of a corporate flight department and really found my niche of scheduling and all that it contains. It taught me the process of what goes into a flight from the start to end, including every little detail in-between. Which lead me to Chantilly Air where I have used those skills and built upon them to expand my knowledge of the industry pertaining to Part 91 and 135 operations. I now have happily returned to Encompass Health Corps Aviation Department to preform flight scheduler duties. My goal right now is to be able to showcase my ability for time management and attention to detail while keeping an optimistic and upbeat attitude while working in the aviation world.
