About Emily Nelson

I love my job! As a pool owner and mother of five children, I understand the dire need to equip every child with the ability to rescue themselves if they accidentally end up in water alone. After my career as an experienced elementary teacher and successful competitive swimmer, I decided to combine my two passions: kids and water. I dove into the Instructor certification course developed by Infant Swimming Resource and became a certified ISR Instructor in 2010. I have successfully taught more than two thousand swim lessons to date. I am uniquely qualified because I- hold a master's degree in elementary education- have been teaching ISR lessons for four years - love and values each child she I'm privileged to teach With hundreds of lakes, pools, and water parks in Northeast Indiana, I recognize parents are exposing children to water year round. My goal is to educate parents on drowning prevention, while preparing kids with necessary skills and confidence to survive and thrive in the water. I would love to meet your child.
