About Emily Noyes

I started working in the Early Childhood industry on a part time basis in 2005 while in school for my degree in education. I stayed in the industry after graduating by working for Children’s Courtyard. In 2011, I landed a Pre- K teaching position at Elsass Academy. From there, I moved to Bright Star Academy in 2014 to teach Pre-K there. Since joining Bright Star, I have expanded my job responsibilities. I began over-seeing all curriculum for the school in 2015. In 2018, I stepped away from teaching to become a full time Curriculum Coordinator. During that time, I expanded my knowledge base to include understanding Conscious Discipline. I also began to train on how to build up enrollment through a company titled Child Care Success Academy. In 2019, I enrolled in CCEI’s director’s training course with the goal of becoming a director at an Early Childhood facility. I finished the course in December of 2019. In January of 2020, I was promoted to Assistant Director. While being in this position, I have continued to expand my knowledge in running a childcare program, worked through the pandemic, maintained curriculum for the school and assisted in trying to build up enrollment. Most recently, I worked to raise our Texas Rising Star standing to a 4 star level.
