I’m a certified event coordinator and programmer, passionate supporter of local (food, people and places), and appreciator of details others wouldn’t notice. The first five minutes of any event are my favourite. At that point, you've done all that you can to ensure the success of the event and you get to watch all your hard work pay off. You've got your Plan A through Z ready should anything deviate from the expected and guests begin to arrive and marvel at what you've worked so hard on. Watching their eyes light up at the entrance or the smile emerge as they see a friend from across the room makes all the late nights, long emails, and skipped lunches worth it. I have over 10 years of event planning experience with a strong focus in post-secondary special events. I excel in bringing people together; through events, volunteer opportunities and various programming initiatives. I have a reputation for creating new ideas to improve upon existing strategies that often exceed expectations of guests, attendees, colleagues and managers. Living in a celebrated wine region for over 15 years has cemented my love of supporting local and I currently sit on a volunteer board that encourages young professionals to live, work and stay within Niagara.
