I graduated with honors from Mercyhurst University, earning a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology. My academic endeavors along with my passion for patient care has inspired me to pursue a career as a Registered Dental Hygienest (RDH). I have actively sought opportunities to apply my knowledge in real-world healthcare settings. Through clinical shadowing, AmeriCorps service, and working as a medical assistant, I have gained valuable hands on experience that has deepened my understanding of patient-focused care. Whether working directly with patients or supporting clinical teams, I've developed a solid appreciation for the importance of empathy, communication, and team-work in delivering quality healthcare. As I apply to Dental Hygiene school, I am excited to continue to develop my clinical skills and deepen my knowledge in patient care, diagnosis and treatment.
