About Emily Odeven

As a Clerical Assistant at Michigan State University, I provide administrative support and customer service to the academic advising office, greeting and checking in students for appointments, performing regular cleaning tasks, and assisting with special projects. I enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where I can apply my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.I am also a Business - Marketing student at MSU, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I have a passion for learning and exploring new opportunities, which led me to pursue an internship at BMT Aerospace last summer. There, I developed and managed a database of potential suppliers, handled external service purchase orders, and utilized Visual interface to enhance procurement efficiency. I also gained valuable experience in auditing, sourcing, and evaluating suppliers, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams. I am eager to further develop my marketing and business skills, and contribute to the success of innovative and impactful organizations.
