About Emily Oneil

My experience spans the gamut from technical to creative expertise. My passion is words and utilizing strategic storytelling to create better content, and I have considerable experience in tech and project management as well. Inclusion and diversity is extremely important to me and I make it my mission to do what I can to help foster a more open environment in everything I do, from the content I write to the games I develop to the way I talk with my clients. I believe we should all use what success we have gained to help lift up others who have yet to achieve the same.I received my Masters in linguistics and have written multiple theses exploring discourse analysis and online communication. I utilize this knowledge daily in my efforts to encourage and support teamwork and communication across departments. Most difficulties and misunderstandings can be mitigated or erased through establishing frameworks for better communication, and I am adamant in achieving this in both my personal and professional life.I'm well versed in game design and business gamification, with a completed RPG, several consulting positions, and a gamified motivational program under my belt. I'm a published author and have acted as a consultant on many projects as both a project manager and a creative adviser.
