About Emily Pearce

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Pearce, and I'm a 22-year-old political science graduate with a passion for politics, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact. I recently graduated from Ball State University in May 2024 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Computer Science.Immediately after graduation, I channeled my enthusiasm for politics into a key role on the Michigan Coordinated Campaign in Grand Rapids, where I was part of a dedicated team that successfully kept Kent County blue in the 2024 elections. The experience strengthened my ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage complex tasks, and collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people. In addition to my political background, my minor in Computer Science has given me strong technical skills in data analysis, coding, and problem-solving, which I believe are critical for navigating today's data-driven political landscape. I am particularly skilled in Python and JavaScript, and I’ve applied these skills in past employment and personal projects.I’m driven by hard work and thrive under pressure. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a project through from start to finish, knowing that I’ve contributed to a team’s success. In my past roles, I’ve demonstrated my ability to handle stressful situations, and I’m eager to continue growing professionally in a role that challenges me and allows me to contribute meaningfully.Looking ahead, I’m excited to bring my passion, technical skills, and work ethic to a position where I can continue making a difference in politics, technology, or any other industry that values innovation, collaboration, and results.
