About Emily Perez

I am a health and wellness advocate. I have completed the Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion program at Centennial College. I have also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Language studies and have been following my passion for nutrition and mental well-being. I have completed an 80-hour Hypnotherapy course and have experience working with a diverse group of people. I have experience assessing and understanding the needs of clients. I have facilitated and run group activities involving Improv, meditation, stretching and dance. I believe that one can achieve self-mastery with the right resources and support. The goal is for individuals and groups to have control over their health and to become resilient. My work experience in the food industry, retail, health and nutrition has given me strong customer service skills. I have 10+ years experience working in customer service. My work and volunteer experience have given me the skills to understand and practice cultural competency. I understand the value of empathy, non-judgment and respect towards others' unique life experiences.
