My journey has been varied, yet consistently centered around one core passion: understanding and uplifting others. As an aspiring therapist currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology from Purdue Global, I've developed a blend of skills that enable me to be good at both interpersonal communication and analytical thinking.My professional journey began in childcare, where I cultivated essential skills in multitasking, creativity, and problem-solving. As I transitioned into roles like a Registered Behavioral Technician, my expertise expanded to include applied behavior analysis, child therapy, and research. This role was a significant milestone, as I earned the certification of a Registered Behavior Technician by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Outside of my work, I channel my creativity into my small business, crafting handmade crochet items to sell on Etsy. This project not only illustrates my entrepreneurial spirit but also my creativity and attention to detail.My long-term goal is to obtain a Master's in psychology and become a certified clinical professional counselor. I am driven by values of compassion, empathy, trustworthiness, and genuineness. With a sincere interest in the well-being of others, I am committed to becoming an exceptional therapist, dedicated to bringing about meaningful change in the lives of those I serve.
