About Emily Sharp

I’ve built my career working for causes that inspire me, from connecting with communities in need, to securing fair wages for working families, to preparing students at a major research university to be future leaders. I write and edit content, manage online presences, plan and promote events, and develop and implement effective marketing strategies. I enjoy sharing meaningful messages, whether I’m drafting a multifaceted communications plan or dashing off a succinct and snappy tweet. My responsibilities have ranged from grassroots community organizing and international field work to supporting high-profile senior leaders. In each of my roles the goal has remained the same: to tell my organization's story, giving a voice to the community members, workers, and scholars at the heart of our mission.
