About Emily Silver

Over the past (number) of years I have worked in many different creative and productive environments where I have gained and grown my many skills that have made me into the artist and educator I am today. I have led classes in museums, camps, and studios as well as within schools as both an art teacher and classroom teacher. Within these roles I have created and implemented a large range of lessons and activities that foster creative and personal growth. I worked with co-teachers, lead teachers, and other school staff to design, create, and foster a positive and productive education environment for all students and faculty. In addition to my current position as an art teacher, I currently manage an art department at a summer camp. This department consists of 6 different programs and a staff of 10-12. I work with my staff to assist them in designing and implementing positive and creative experiences for all campers, ages 8-16. Prior to managing the department I was the studio art activity leader for 8 years where I built up a large body of creative and fun projects for all ages and abilities. I am always looking for an art educator role in an environment that fosters creativity and personal growth for students and faculty. I aim to contribute my skills and work ethic to a collaborative team with a common goal of creating a positive learning and growing experience.
