About Emily Silverman

Born & raised in Kent, WA, 20 min. south of Seattle, I never imagined I would end up living in Las Cruces, NM. Long story short, after attending school back home for a couple years I decided I needed a change and it just so happened that my younger sister and my longtime friend were both attending school at New Mexico State University. They both raved about how much they loved the school, friends, and the community and I thought to myself, “Why not!” So I took the plunge, applied, got accepted and hopped on a plane to move 1648 miles. Fast forward several years, an NMSU Degree, a job as an AR Specialist, Married, First House, a move to California for a job with Union Pacific Railroad as a Manager of Yard Operations, First Rental Property (our first home in Las Cruces), move back to Las Cruces, bought another house, job with law firm, bought another rental, baby boy, first time mom, and now the biggest adventure of all, running a business with my husband. After 11 years in Las Cruces, I think it’s fair to say I LOVE IT HERE!
