I am currently working as a Financial Services Representative at MSUFCU South Lansing branch. There I help with member services and products, dealing with savings and checking accounts, and much more.I have learned the joys of working in a larger company and gained useful skills within the medical field and the office environment. I have been blessed to work at a company that truly values hard work and appreciates all employees. I also have experience in medical offices for the last 5 years, as well as retail, working in several stores as a sales associate. I have experienced being promoted in under 6 months while working at ULTA Beauty, leading a team at Windsor Fashions, and finding the want in a career in cosmetology. I learned the pressures of meeting sales goals, customer retention, and tension between associates. I have learned how to creatively problem solve, adhering to multitasking and taking up jobs that aren't necessarily mine. I have learned that in order to succeed you must take on many hats and roll with the punches. I have a major interest in the cosmetology world, freelancing in my free time (specializing in bridal and special effects). It is such a creative outlet for me and I am looking forward to attending Cosmetology School in the coming years.
