About Emily Strader

Adjunct Instructor for College and Career Readiness Adult English Language Learners at the Western Wake Tech Campus in Cary, NC. I am also a small business owner in the arts and crafts industry. I take old materials and remake them into something new: think renew, reuse, recycle. I make journals, lookbooks, scrapbooks, coffee table books, and such…from thrifted store buys and inherited supplies. I can talk about adventures I’ve had landing supplies to pursue this interest. In my former life, I was a career counselor/ coach in higher education and classroom teacher. My master’s degree in education/career counseling from North Carolina Central University prompted a career into helping young adults in pursuing their next steps…including job searches, internships, resume creation, statements of purpose, interviewing skills, industry education, skills development, and more. I continue to have a curiosity in this industry of new trends and the job market.
